The Service

What the Advisory Retainer Is

Most organizations treat accessibility as a project. An audit is completed, remediation is addressed, and attention shifts elsewhere. In reality, accessibility posture is not static. Every release, vendor change, and content update introduces new risk. Without structured oversight, resolved issues can reappear, and new exposure can enter unnoticed.

The Advisory Retainer provides continuity. It extends the audit from a point-in-time assessment into an ongoing layer of risk interpretation, process guidance, training support, and organizational improvement aligned to how the organization evolves over time.

The value is interpretation. It gives clients direct access to senior judgment, retained system context, earlier visibility into material risk, and practical support for strengthening internal processes, improving review habits, and building a sustainable accessibility program. It helps teams prevent recurrence, sustain credibility under scrutiny, and make informed decisions as systems, releases, and requirements change.

Why Continuity Matters

A project gives you an answer.
A retainer keeps you on track.

Accessibility posture doesn't hold on its own. As your application changes, your risk shifts with it. A retainer keeps your position current, your decisions grounded, and your next steps clear as things move.

Built For

Who We Serve

The Advisory Retainer is designed for organizations that need structured continuity across releases, vendor change, and evolving accessibility risk.

Organizations with Active Release Cycles

Shipping regularly and needing sustained visibility into how releases affect accessibility posture.

Every release introduces new risk. The retainer helps leadership understand where the organization stands before, during, and after each deployment cycle.

Organizations Under External Scrutiny

Managing active or anticipated legal, procurement, or regulatory scrutiny.

When external review may happen at any time, reactive engagement is too late. The retainer helps maintain evidence-backed readiness and stronger continuity under pressure.

Organizations with Complex Vendor Ecosystems

Managing multiple vendors, platforms, or inherited systems where accessibility risk enters from outside the core engineering team.

Accessibility exposure is often inherited through vendor software, design systems, and procurement decisions. The retainer helps monitor these upstream sources and provides earlier warning when risk begins to move in the wrong direction.

Leadership Teams Seeking Continuous Visibility

Needing sustained visibility into accessibility risk, not a point-in-time snapshot.

Executive, legal, and compliance stakeholders need release-to-release interpretation, not periodic review alone. The retainer translates evolving risk into the language decision-makers use.

Retainer Benefits

What Continuity Makes Possible

Preferred Pricing

Retainer clients receive 20 percent preferred pricing on Core Accessibility and Software Risk Audits and Remediation Review engagements. They also receive priority scheduling for add-on services, with expedited access when escalation, targeted review, or validation support is required.

Retainer and Legal Good Faith Portfolio

The Advisory Retainer is designed to work in tandem with the Legal Good Faith Portfolio. While the portfolio captures evidence at a point in time, the retainer ensures that documentation, remediation activity, and governance records continue to evolve as systems change.

Following a Core Audit and Remediation Review, the retainer supports ongoing documentation of remediation activity, tracking of newly identified critical risks, maintenance of current governance evidence, and the continued strengthening of the portfolio. Together, they create a more credible and defensible record over time.

Note: The Advisory Retainer is designed to strengthen and maintain a Legal Good Faith Portfolio over time, but it is not a prerequisite for obtaining one.

Decision Ownership

The client retains all downstream release, remediation, and risk acceptance decisions.

Principal-Led. Decision-Grade. Built for Scrutiny.

The audit showed where you stand. The next step is continuity.
